HAY o/ AS A HEADS UP, after today I'm probably taking another hiatus till around next Thursday or so. Will not be threading, but can be caught on Google Talk if I'm listed as around and about. F-F-FINALS TIME and various other exciting RL-related generalities.

This weekend, at least, I'll be sure to hit people up re: Charley's intro post and some Abel threads I've dropped over the past few days! Um. And when I do that I'll nudge people here and there on IRC to ask if they'd like to pick up at all. Sounds good, yes?

With the HD failure in February or so and a lot of RL crap going on, I finally gave up on the icon thing and instead requested a set from the infinitely majestic papillondejade. Hilariously, a process that took me about three months to even properly begin has taken her a week. And they look awesome and everything. I ♥ her.

She will be done soon and I will slowly begin shuffling out old icons for new ones. Of equal importance will be NEW KEYWORDS! So old threads will look silly. Change is a-comin'. The pretty kind. Let's rock.

Hiatus for a week! Will intro Crane when I get back. Everyone is doing their thing, I guess.

Recently Abel's been having some special issues! Special issues. He is pissed off and temperamental and really just wants to smack a bitch. It doesn't show in his usual threads at all--after all, he's Abel and still fully capable of acting like a functional human being when all he wants to do is sit and brood in the dark. He can smile! And laugh! And be a humongous loser! And hide his bad mood like a pro.

But. He's really just being tailed by thunderclouds these days. And he's taking it out on people who give him even the smallest reason to DO VIOLENCE on them, and then he feels shitty about that too, and--! Basically it is a self-perpetuating cycle of pain and hurt, and he doesn't know what to do about it, and he's generally a fairly terrible hand at talking himself out of ruts. It's hilarious and sad and pathetic and ( THIS IS AN ESSAY )

The only reason this will take as long as it will is his stupid hair. Curse you, luscious locks! Also he looked a lot less DEATH WHITE on the laptop. SO DANGER LEVELS are, from greatest to least: Hazel, Nathan, Abel, Charley. Although none of these are high danger levels, and there's nothing extremely irreparable going on. Probably. We'll see.

Next year, big visible changes--some tinkering with Abel's voice to line it up better with the TP translation, icon rehauls for Abel and Hazel, changing of Hazel's LJ name and his name on the registry to Hazel Grouse because it's been bothering me.
